How Often Should You Detail a Car in Las Vegas?
The right interval depends on where you park, not what you drive. Here is the schedule we actually recommend to customers.
The short answer
Exterior every two to four weeks. Interior every one to two months. A full reset once or twice a year. That schedule keeps a valley car looking close to new and costs less annually than one emergency deep clean.
Garage-kept cars
If your car sleeps in a garage, you are mostly fighting dust and brake film rather than UV. A Refresh Exterior every three to four weeks is plenty, with a Refresh Interior every couple of months.
Cars parked outside
This is where the valley is unforgiving. Sun on the paint all afternoon, sprinklers overnight and dust in between. Every two to three weeks on the exterior, and protection that is actually current, either a sealant or a coating.
Family cars and work trucks
- Kids and pets: monthly interior, with a Revive Interior once or twice a year to reset the carpets and seats.
- Job sites: interior monthly at minimum. Job-site dust is abrasive and it grinds into everything.
- Rideshare and delivery: you are effectively running a commercial interior. Every two weeks is not excessive.
What happens if you wait
Nothing dramatic for the first few months. Then water spots start to etch, trim goes gray, and carpets get to the point where vacuuming does nothing. At that stage you are buying a $425 Revive Full Detail instead of a $90 wash.
The cheapest way to own a clean car
Reset it once with a full detail, then hold it with maintenance washing on a set interval. Over a year that costs less than letting it slide and rescuing it twice.
