Why it matters in the valley
Most of what makes paint look tired is not dirt. It is thousands of fine scratches in the clear coat from brush washes, dirty towels and desert grit, plus hard water spots that have started to etch.
Correction removes a controlled amount of clear coat with a machine polisher to level those defects out. Done right, the reflections go sharp and the color comes back. Done wrong, it burns through paint, which is why we inspect first and tell you what is realistic.
One-step gets 60 to 70 percent of the defects and finishes with a sealant. Two-step adds a cutting stage before the polish for 85 to 95 percent, and includes hard water spot removal.

Real Google reviews from Bartlett Mobile Detail customers.
Amazing job!!! All the scratches were buffed out & my car looks brand new!! The best mobile car detailing in Las Vegas!!
We had a fantastic experience with Bartlett Detail from start to finish. They responded quickly, provided great communication throughout the process, and did a fantastic job detailing our car. It looked amazing after! They also helped buff out a paint mark from a car that had scraped us in a parking lot. For the incredibly reasonable price, we couldn't have asked for better service and a better experience. Highly recommend!
Can you get every scratch out?
No, and anyone promising that is guessing. If a scratch catches your fingernail it is through the clear coat. Two-step gets 85 to 95 percent of what is correctable.
Does polishing hurt my paint?
It removes a few microns of clear coat, which is why it is not something to do every year. We measure and inspect first, and we stop well short of anything risky.
Will correction fix hard water spots?
Fresh spots often clean off with the $75 water spot removal add-on. Etched spots need polishing, and that is included in the two-step package.
Should I add a ceramic coating after correction?
If you want the result to last, yes. A coating package already includes the correction, so it is usually the better value than doing them separately.
